UA&SC: The Freedom Center of Polemical Literature

A guide to collections, searching, and accessing materials in UA&SC.

The Freedom Center

The Freedom Center collection houses a broad spectrum of 20th century cultural and sociopolitical materials, preserving viewpoints across the American experience and capturing the full scope of our nation's complex history. Our scholarly archive contains materials on labor movements, community-based civil advocacy efforts, environmental stewardship initiatives, gender and identity perspectives, and animal welfare advocacy. The collection also maintains historical context through preservation of traditionalist viewpoints, including religious nationalism, anti-communist movements, historical prejudices, and border security discussions. This repository serves as an academic resource for researchers seeking to understand the complete spectrum of American political and social movements.
