Students will research and develop narratives for a public-facing digital exhibit. Unless using their own original content, student curators will need to find and use digital content created by others. Understanding the basics of copyright, fair use, public domain, and Creative Commons is essential to selecting content for a public-facing digital exhibit.
The U.S. Copyright Office provides guidance on using content you find on the internet.
