ScholarWorks is the institutional repository for research, scholarship, and creative works authored by members of the CSUF community.
The purpose of this repository is to preserve and share the scholarly and creative output of our university. As an open access platform, the works uploaded in ScholarWorks are freely available to researchers, scholars, and students around the world. This serves not only to showcase the impactful contributions that Titans have in their fields, but also to ensure the legacy of scholarship in our community will last for generations.
CSUF ScholarWorks is administered by the Pollak Library and made accessible through the CSU Chancellor's Office.
One important reason for including your work in ScholarWorks is to engage in a more open landscape of academic publishing that allows for your work to reach a wider audience and potentially have a greater impact on scholarly discourse and public knowledge.
There are also several individual benefits that make ScholarWorks helpful for you:
Visibility. Publications are indexed by Google, Google Scholar, etc, and are easily findable on the free web.
Citation impact. Works published in repositories are cited more frequently than those that reside only behind a paywall.
Permalink. The URL of your article will never change, making it easier to share on your CV, website, LinkedIn profile, etc.
Grant criteria. Sharing materials in ScholarWorks meets the data-sharing requirement of some grant-funded research (ex: NIH).
ScholarWorks is designed to house faculty and student works that represent the research and creative activities completed at CSU Fullerton.
