Open Journal Systems
The CSU Chancellor's Office provides access to and support for Open Journal Systems, an open source journal management and publishing software. This software allows for journal creation and maintenance at the university level without costly publisher fees. The user-friendly interface simplifies the processes of managing incoming submissions, assigning reviewers, and notifying authors.
OJS offers flexibility with design, allowing for each journal to maintain its own unique branding.
There are currently two journals from Fullerton that utilize this system, Journal of Consent-Based Performance, and the Californian Journal of Health Promotion.
If you are interested in learning more about establishing a journal through OJS, please contact Michaela Bettez.
