UA&SC: Exhibits

THE PROJECT: Zines to the Future! is an Exhibit on the history of zines, with rare zines on display, but also original art and new zines drawn from the work of participants. Our theme is "Imagining Diverse Futures." Our Exhibit opened in the Atrium Gallery of the Pollak Library on the California State University, Fullerton campus on October 29, 2020. Rare zines are on display from University Archives and Special Collections. The project included online zine-making workshops from our library’s new “Makerspace,” and a virtual panel on "Latinx Science Fiction: Genealogies, Foundations, Futures" for the opening of our Exhibit, and another panel on Black Futurisms in December.
