About the Exhibit

October 19 – 25, 2015 was Open Access Week and the Pollak Library participated in this global event that focused on open access as it relates to information and research. 

The display highlighted some of the recent articles published in open access journals by California State University, Fullerton faculty.  The exhibit included information to learn more about the benefits of open access, publishing and funding opportunities, and ways to integrate open access into research and scholarship.  An “Open Access” computer station was made available to read the featured articles or to browse the Pollak Library’s Open Access LibGuide.

There was also be a fun and interactive Open Access Jeopardy game hosted at different spots on campus where participants won prizes and entered drawings to win a $25.00 gift certificate to Starbucks, Target, Aloha Java, or In-N-Out.
