English 101: Professor O'Neil's Classes

A resource guide for English 101 library instruction sessions taught by Digital Scholarship Librarian, Colleen Robledo Greene.

Welcome to Professor O'Neil's students!

This section of my English 101 instruction guide is for resources specific to students enrolled in sections taught by Professor Katie O'Neil, who are working with Digital Scholarship Librarian Colleen Greene. These resources are in addition to those covered throughout the rest of this guide.

Research Assignment

The students will analyze a piece of media (show, movie, text, or video) and evaluate it according to the conventions of the genre (answering whether your media is a successful example of the genre or assess whether it's a good example of the genre). A secondary source (peer reviewed article) is required for this essay.
