About This List
Digital Tools & Methods Currently Taught
The following digital tools and types of digital humanities and digital scholarship projects are currently taught by librarians at the Pollak Library.
This entire section of the guide is heavily under development. Please check back again soon.
This list includes digital tools I frequently teach at CSUF and notes about particular digital methods for which these tools are used. If I have already created an instructional guide for that platform or application, I include a link to that guide. Please reach out to me if you have another digital tool or project idea in mind. If I do not currently teach that platform or application, I will find you other learning opportunities and resources.

Virtual Reality (VR) experiences are computer-simulated environments -- whether imaginary or real worlds -- in which a person is immersed by using specific VR equipment. The level of interaction depends on the type of VR equipment and the design of the VR experience.
This is an excellent tool for visiting immersive experiences such as: virtual exhibits, historical scenes, landmarks, lost worlds, and scientific explorations. VR can also be impactful for understanding different perspectives, including themes of social justice.
