Journal database search tips

Truncation symbols
Expands a search term to include forms of a root word by adding a symbol at the end of the search term. In each of the databases listed, the trunaction symbol is *. For example exhibit* retrieves exhibition, exhibits, exhibitor, etc.

WildCards
Use * to find an unlimited number of characters within a word,
For example behavi*r retrieves behaviour and behavior.

Use ? to find alternative spellings.
? represents any single character;
?? represents 2 characters, and so on.
For example:
wom?n finds woman and women,
theat?? finds theater and theatre.
