The answer to this is: There is no campus-wide policy on AI at CSUF!
Whether AI is allowed or prohibited in your class is up to your individual Instructor. This makes sense; there needs to be flexibility according to class goals. You may have an Art class where your Instructor allows and encourages AI to help you generate creative designs. Or you may have an English class where your Instructor prohibits it, due to wanting you to use your own thoughts & sentences in writing. So, always follow whatever your Instructor states is the class policy on AI (verbally in class or in writing on the syllabus).
