Find Books with OneSearch

Stack of Books

Use OneSearch to find books, ebooks and media in the Pollak Library collection as well as other CSU libraries. You can also use OneSearch to access My Library Card to view the status of your library account.

How do I find books in other libraries?

This page describes how to get books that aren't available at the Pollak Library.

1. Search for books you need using WorldCat.  You can then order the book so it is delivered to the Pollak Library by using ILLiad. This service is free to CSUF students, staff and faculty.

To find a library with the books you need, check one of several library catalogs with the holdings of local libraries.
WorldCat [CSUF only] - 60,000 libraries worldwide. [free] - 1.3 billion items in 10,000+ libraries worldwide

Inter Library Loan

Interlibrary Loan

Current Cal State Fullerton students, faculty, and staff may borrow books, journal articles, and other library materials from partner lending libraries if the Pollak Library does not own a copy of a requested item. All Interlibrary Loan (ILL) requests are processed electronically through our ILLiad service.

This service is available for free in most cases. The Library will advise you ahead of time if there is an out of pocket cost involved. Loans can be picked up at the Circulation Desk, however articles are delivered electronically to your ILLiad account. Some ILL items are renewable, depending on each particular lending library. Learn more about notifications, renewals, the number of allowed active requests, and fines for overdue items and replacement items in our Interlibrary Loan Policy.
