Children's & Young Adult Literature Resources: A Multicultural Winter Wonderland

This resources guide aims to consolidate important resources for the study and use of children's literature. Bibliographies and scholarly resources to complement our monthly Children's Literature Exhibit at the Pollak Library are also included.

A Multicultural Winter Wonderland

The Pollak Library invites you to share in the debut of our Children’s Literature exhibit. Our hope is to bring you a selection of outstanding children’s literature on a variety of themes.

To start us off, we have chosen “winter” as our opening theme. The books in our selection are evocative of winter in its many forms – from snowy days, to holidays of the season, to cozy days filled with the spirit of giving and fresh starts.

Southern California winters, might be subtle in their climate compared to other coasts, but our diverse and beautiful cultures imbue our winter days with boundless expressions of how we are as human beings in the winter.

We hope you enjoy this exhibit! It is yours!

Please feel free to borrow the books and take them home to share with loved ones (including your students).
