General Information

The Government Documents Section provides access to government information in both electronic and tangible formats.  It consists of four collections: United States, California, Local City/County/Regional, and International.  A government document is any material in any format having the imprint of a government or intergovernmental agency.  It can be a book, journal, hearing, law, poster, map, computer file, electronic publication, sound/video recording, et cetera.  All documents available in the Pollak Library are fully cataloged and searchable through the Library's OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog).  In addition, many records also provide links to electronic versions of materials available online.
